* **Create Your Own Referral Link:** Choose your existing THORName or register a new one to generate your unique referral link. This link serves as your gateway to a steady stream of commission rewards.
* **Earn Commission on Each Swap:** Every new user who signs up through your link and completes a swap on THORSwap will earn you a share of the swap fees. Base referral rewards start at 10bps (0.1%) and scale up to a maximum of 20bps (0.2%) depending on vTHOR holdings.
* **Offer Rebate Discounts to Your Audience:** Want to give back to your community or incentivize large traders? Simply reach out on the [THORSwap discord](https://discord.gg/thorswap) to configure a portion of your affiliate commission as a rebate discount. This flexibility lets you tailor your referral offering, strengthening your brand and building trust with your audience.

1. **Sign Up**: Head over to [app.thorswap.finance/referral](https://app.thorswap.finance/referral) to create your referral link.
2. **Select or Register Your THORName:** If you don’t have a [THORName](https://docs.thorswap.finance/thorswap/ecosystem/thorchain/thornames) yet, register one at [app.thorswap.finance/thorname](https://app.thorswap.finance/thorname).

> ***⚠️Important: Affiliate THORNames MUST be 3–4 characters or shorter.***

If you already own a compatible THORName, select it to use for referrals.

**3. \[OPTIONAL] Select your preferred asset:** by default rewards are collected in $RUNE, if you wish to change to another asset — first assign the chain to your THORName.

For example, to collect fees in USDC (Ethereum) — first assign Ethereum address to your THORName, then select it and USDC:

> ***⚠️NOTE:** RUNE rewards are automatically collected with each swap and sent to your THORChain address. For preferred assets — rewards are sent to the chosen recipient address when the collected balance reaches 200x the gas fee required to send out.*

**4. Generate Your Referral Link:** Once you’ve selected your THORName, your unique referral link will be generated. Share it via social media, newsletters, community forums, or any other platform you choose.
