# Basic Ledger Troubleshooting

-Correct App on Ledger is open

-Ensure firmware and apps are up-to-date on Ledger

-Try disconnecting other USB devices

-Close Ledger Live

-Close other windows/apps using Ledger

-Switch on-or-off Expert/Developer Mode on Ledger

Ledger uses/requires WebHID for interaction which means you will not be able to connect to THORSwap or other dApps when using certain browsers.
